Perfect Butter Cream Frosting

This recipe has been my absolute number one go to for dinner parties, birthdays and late night must haves! The

best thing about the fluffy topping is that you can add it to almost anything, especially in a pinch… boxed cakes and

brownies instantly taste better with this impressively fast and easy recipe!

Serving it slightly chilled will bring out the rich butter and vanilla that is somehow still light.

Perfect Butter Cream Frosting

Ingredients:

  • 2 vanilla beans, split and beans removed (you can save beans for flavoring sugar or making your own extract).
  • 2 cups sifted confectioners sugar
  • 1-2 teaspoons vanilla (depending on how strong you would like the flavor to be).
  • 2 sticks/1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature (do not melt)
  • ½ cup marshmallow fluff

Directions:

Using the paddle attachment on your electric mixer to cream sugar and butter until smooth and airy (usually about

3 minutes depending on how soft your butter is). Add marshmallow, vanilla extract and beans and continue mixing

until you have the desired thickness. Use one backed goods are fully cooled. Sits well on the counter for a few

hours in room temps between 70 and 80 degrees, store any leftover in the fridge or freezer.
