Learn how to make a fun new ball from sponges!
Supplies:
- 3 rectangular kitchen sponges
- 1 Pen or Fine tip marker
- 1 ruler
Instructions:
Use new sponges and be sure not to wet them ahead of time they are easier to
cut straight out of the package
- Use your pen and ruler to draw 5 lengthwise lines on a sponge, 1/2” apart
- Use your scissors to cut along the lines to create 6 strips
- Repeat with the 2 other sponges
- Take your sponge strips and lay them on-top of each other, creating 3 layers
- Take your piece of string and tie a tight knot in to center of your sponges
- Fluff your sponge pieces into a ball
