When I first started couponing what confused me the most was the abbreviations! I mean really!! What in the world were these people even talking about??! I compiled the list below to help you become familiar with the lingo and to help you better understand it.

 

GM – General Mills Insert

SS – Smart Source Insert

RP – RedPlum Insert

P&G – Procter & Gamble Insert

ECB – Extra Care Bucks from CVS Pharmacy

RR – Register Rewards from Walgreens

CAT – Catalina (a coupon you get when you check out)

B1G1 – Buy 1, Get One Free or BOGO – also stands for Buy 1 Get one Free

BOGO 50%Off – Buy One Get One 50% Off

OYNO -On Your Next Order

WYB – When You Buy

MFG – Manufacture coupon

OOP – Out Of Pocket

MM – Money Maker

Wags – Walgreens

EXP – Expires
