Homemade Christmas Kettle Corn

Ingredients:

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1/4 cup sugar

3/4 tsp. salt

1/2 cup popcorn

1 cup Nestle Milk Chocolate Chips

1 1/2 tsp. milk

Christmas candy sprinkles (I found mine at Dollar General in the baking section)

Directions:

1) Pour the vegetable oil and a few kernels of corn into a large pot with a lid. Heat oil on high heat until the corn begins to pop then add in the rest of the popcorn.

2) Pour your sugar evenly over un-popped kernels and gently move the pot back and forth over the burner to keep your sugar from burning. Keep rocking your pan back and forth until the popping begins to slow down.

3) Quickly, keep shaking your pot, as you begin to pour it out onto a lined baking sheet or cake pan. Sprinkle the salt over the top of your kernels and stir to mix it evenly.

4) Add chocolate chips and 1 1/2 tablespoons of milk into a small pan and cook on medium low heat until melted stirring continuously. Once the mixture is completely melted use a fork to drizzle the melted chocolate over the popcorn. Sprinkle your Christmas sprinkles over the top of the popcorn and enjoy! I guarantee this will be one of the best recipes you have ever made!!
