Kids Activity: Crayon Melts

Do you have alot of crayons that are to small for your kids to hold? Don’t throw them out!! You can use them to make big chunky crayons! I know you are probably like “Wow! No Way!!” Your Kids Can Help ,Too!!!!! ♥

What You Need

 Broken Crayon

Old Muffin Tin

A Knife

Here’s How

  1. Gather up all you broken crayons, cut them into small pieces. (An adult will need to complete this step)
  2. Preheat oven to 250°
  3. Fill the tin with an inch-thick layer of crayon pieces
  4. Bake 15-20 minutes, or until wax is melted
  5. Allow the tin to cool
  6. Pop them out and start coloring

If you don’t have a tin to devote to crayon melting just line your muffin tin with foil cups

Candy and soap can be used ,too

Recycled crayons make great gifts and party favors
