Mia Mariu Mineral Make-Up Review

My sister has been stuck on using “mineral make-up” for a couple years. I have always been an avid Estee Lauder user myself and have always wondered what the big deal was with mineral make-up. So when I was given the opportunity to review Mia Mariu mineral make-up I jumped at the chance. Now I do have to tell you that when I ordered it I knew that it was really going to have to be good to even compare to my high dollar Estee Lauder make up which I have used for over 20 years.

What is mineral make-up??

Mia Mariu products consist of the most natural ingredients available. They  contain a combination of botanicals,  vitamins and minerals that offer the perfect blend of ingredients to give your skin a glowing, healthy look instead of that heavy way to much makeup look! I absolutely can’t stand when I see a face with so much make-up on it that it actually makes the wrinkles stand out instead of helping to hide them. Mineral make-up does not “cake” on and it does not block the pores in your skin which traditional make-up can do. Mineral make-up also has a longer shelf life than traditional make-up.

I am more of a rough and tumble girl!

I can be sort of a tom boy at times so me trying to explain make-up and how it works just really isn’t my thing. I would be talking about something I really have had no desire to learn about. What I can tell you is what I thought of the Mia Mariu make-up and how it worked for me. I had to choose 3 products to try out and I had this brilliant idea of totally going crazy and getting the foundation, powder and blush. This really took me out of my comfort zone because I am one of those people who finds something they like and sticks with it forever! Well ordering mineral foundation online was obviously something I have never done before and I figured when I put it on it probably would’t match my skin tone but I followed the instructions online and to make a long story short the color matched my skin tone perfectly!

I do have to say that when I applied the mineral foundation I had a ton left over in my hand. I am used to putting a big glob in my hand and working it in, well this is not really needed with this foundation. All you need is half a pump and it covers everything just fine . Now that translates into a real money saver and you know me, I am all about saving money. If you don’t need as much everyday then it is going to last alot longer!! Then I applied the loose powder and blush. I picked a totally different color blush than I usually use! I told you I stepped way out of my comfort zone on this.

I was happy with the appearance of the make-up after it’s applied. It lasted all day for me and that means alot!! I chase after an 18 month old all day long and I am 42 years old and just don’t have the time or energy to reapply make-up. It did not make my wrinkles look like big huge craters in my face. I know you know what I’m talking about!! LOL! 🙂 To make a long story short I was very happy with the product and pleased that a great product didn’t have to cost an arm and a leg.
